Broken Links Policy

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra is committed to keeping fn.mahacet.org free of broken hyperlinks so that candidates can always reach the information they need.

How we monitor links

  • An automated link-check of all internal pages — including country guides, course pages and blog articles — is carried out every month.
  • External links to other government and statutory-body websites (AICTE, NMC, PCI, AIU, Bar Council of India and others) are verified during the same cycle, since destination sites can reorganise their content without notice.
  • Links reported by users are verified and corrected on priority, normally within seven working days.

What happens when a broken link is found

  • Internal links are corrected immediately, or the destination page is restored.
  • Outdated external links are updated to the new destination where one exists, or removed if the resource has been withdrawn.
  • Wherever a page has been permanently moved, a redirect is configured so that previously shared and bookmarked URLs continue to work.

Report a broken link

If you encounter a broken link anywhere on this portal, please write to student@mahacet.org with the page address and the link text, or call the Technical Helpline at +91-9076000348. Your report helps every candidate who follows you.
