Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval Policy (CMAP)

Content for fn.mahacet.org is contributed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra (hereafter "the Cell"). This policy describes how content travels from contribution to publication so that everything candidates read is authentic, current and approved.

Contribution

• Content originates from the officials and sections of the Cell responsible for the respective subject — eligibility, fees, schedules, participating institutions and candidate guidance.
• Each contribution identifies its source document: the official brochure, a Government Resolution, or a notification of the appropriate authority defined under the Act.

Moderation

• Contributed content is moderated for factual accuracy against the source document, for language and clarity, and for consistency with content already published on the portal.
• Content affecting eligibility or fees receives a second, independent check before it can proceed to approval.

Approval and publication

• Moderated content is approved by the authorised officer of the Cell before publication.
• Time-sensitive notices follow an expedited path while retaining the same approval requirement.
• Every published page records its last-updated date; superseded content is archived, not silently overwritten.

Suggestions and corrections from candidates are welcome at student@mahacet.org; accepted corrections enter the same moderation and approval pipeline.
