Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the MH-CET International Helpdesk website (the "Service") operated by Edulab on behalf of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra ("State CET Cell"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
1. Definition of Service
The Service is a guidance and facilitation platform designed to assist international and NRI students in understanding the admission process for courses under the purview of the State CET Cell. Edulab acts solely as a technology and knowledge partner. The Service provides information, checklists, and tools to help you prepare your application. The Service does not grant admissions, nor does it guarantee any admission outcome. All final decisions are made exclusively by the State CET Cell and affiliated universities.
2. User Responsibilities
- You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by the Service's forms and questionnaires.
- You are solely responsible for verifying all information, dates, and requirements with the official notifications and websites of the State CET Cell (fn.mahacet.org) and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of any account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Edulab makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Edulab disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Warranties that the information provided is always accurate, complete, reliable, or current. Information is subject to change by government authorities without notice.
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- Warranties that any defects or errors will be corrected.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Edulab, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the content provided by the Service.
- The rejection of your application, denial of admission, or any other outcome of the official admission process conducted by the State CET Cell.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
- Any action or decision made by you in reliance upon the information provided through the Service.
Edulab's total liability to you for any and all claims arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount, if any, paid by you to use the Service.
5. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Edulab and its employees, partners, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service, or from your violation of any term of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Edulab and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Edulab.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
